Creating Dari/Pashto scripts using Wazhah Nigar and Photoshop™ |
| In may programs you can use the Copy-n-paste
method. But when it comes to text and specially the Right-to-left
texts, you get problem and it shows something strange characters like
what is bellow: |

| In order to get correct result, you need to
do it in the following order: |
| In Wazha Nigar (or other) type your text and then select (highlight) the text and
Press Ctrl+C (it means press and keep the Ctrl key while pressing the C
key). |

| Now open your preferred graphic program like
Photoshop™ or CorelDraw™ or any other program. We give
you example using Photoshop™. |
| Open a new document by clicking File > New and
or if you prefer you can type on other graphic or a picture.
When your document is ready, click on the Text tool to see this
window: |

| Now this is the important
part which you may have missed (we did it too). You must select
the Dari/Pashto/Arabic font before pasting it to the typing area. |

| In the above example, we
have selected Siavash as our preferred font. Now bring the curser
on the Typing Area and paste the text by pressing Ctrl+V (it
means while keeping pressed the Ctrl key, press the V key of the
keyboard). |

| When click on OK and
your text is in the work area. Need more help? email us at webmaster@afghanteens.net
